I went to Taqueria El Trenecito after a long day of swimming at Mount Pisgah, and let me tell you, the tacos/burrito hit the spot and left me wanting to buy more to take home for later! The cart is small, but has plenty of outdoor seating and a fantastic menu full of delicious flavors. I opted for a carnitas taco while my friends got a quesadilla and asada burrito! All were great! If you've been on the fence about coming here, please do!! I can't wait to come back!

This tiny location took me by surprise just because of the outside look of the place. I ordered a couple burritos for me and the family and the food was great! Definitely worth my money's worth. The owner was even nice enough to gift us sodas! Who does that out of good will now a days???? Obviously him! He was super kind and nice to do that! I will definitely come back one day.

This is the most authentic and best Mexican food in the region! If you're driving west down Main Street, you wouldn't notice place at all if you weren't looking. It is literally the hidden gem of the Eugene-Springfield area. The cook is one of the most hardworking and kind individuals I've ever met. I highly recommend this place if you're hungry for a few delicious tacos or a burrito!

Got a burrito. In the 5 minutes it took for a guy to come to the window, I was able to witness a pile of cooked carne asada just sitting on a paper plate on the counter. Not refrigerated, not covered, just open air to the outside where flies were buzzing around.
I'm gross so I still ordered and ate it, but I'm fully expecting a liquid brown eye later.
The rice in the burrito was mushy, the meat had been left out, the lettuce was soft. And the tortilla was greasy on the outside (dirty grill).
I'm a cook and I know shit isn't perfect behind the scenes sometimes but wholly fuck this place. Their food seems to be the culinary version of the social level of it's location. Gross.
